Job summary

Hunters International Sdn Bhd is seeking a Sales Engineer for a client in Puchong, Malaysia. You will drive business growth by selling chemical dosing and process instrumentation, manage key accounts, and prepare proposals.

Travel will be required, and fluency in Mandarin and English is essential. The role reports to the Sales Manager – Power, Oil & Gas, with office-based work hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Engineering (Chemical, Environmental or Mechanical).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in technical sales or engineering with sales proposals.

Responsibilities

• Sell chemical dosing/transfer equipment and systems.
• Identify sales opportunities in Chemical & Petrochemical markets.
• Maintain and grow customer base; build lasting relationships.
• Develop close customer relations to identify and manage key customers.
• Coordinate and prepare commercial and technical proposals from plans and documents.
• Provide technical support and advice to customers.
• Collect data to understanding competitors and products.

About the Company:

An establishedengineering firmspecializes in precision chemical dosing pumps, custom water treatment systems, and process instrumentation for municipal, industrial, and power generation applications.

We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Sales Engineer to join our client's team in Puchong, Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in business development and sales, combining with strong customer service skills to drive business growth and build lasting relationships.

• Location: Puchong, Malaysia
• Work Mode: Work from Office
• Role: Sales Engineer
• Report to: Sales Manager – Power, Oil & Gas
• Working hour:Mon - Fri(8.30am-5.30pm)

Key Responsilities

• Selling chemical dosing/transfer equipment/systems
• Identify sales opportunities & potential customers in Chemical & Petrochemical markets.
• Maintaining & creating new customer base
• Develop close customer relations to identify & manage key customers
• Coordinate & prepare commercial and technical proposal by studying plans and related customer documents, consulting with engineers and technical personnel
• Provide technical support and advice to customers
• Collect data to develop competitor's positioning and performance of their competitive products
• Ability to create and deliver presentations to clearly communicate the advantages of our products
• Responsible for providing timely reports
• Coordinate with service teams to provide customer support and service quality is maintained

Requirement:

• Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Environmental or Mechanical).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in related technical sales or engineering. Must have experience in doing sales proposal.
• Sales experience in Oil & Gas, Power & Energy industry is an advantage
• Excellent communication in both Mandarin & English,and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Possess own car and willing to travel

Remunerations:

• Salary up to RM 7,000.00 + 13th month salary
