We are seeking a data-driven, highly organized Sales Operations Manager to lead performance reporting, appointment tracking, and operational rhythm for our Institutional Sales team. In this role, you will serve as the engine behind our sales workflow—ensuring data hygiene across our CRM, delivering executive-level management reporting, and establishing robust tracking systems for client meetings, business development appointments, and deal progression.
Key responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain automated dashboards and weekly/monthly/quarterly executive reports covering sales pipeline, converted opportunities, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Prepare routine and ad-hoc performance packs for the Head of Institutional Sales, Executive Committee, and key stakeholders
Analyze activity data (client meetings, pitch conversion rates, follow-ups) to identify trends, bottlenecks, and growth opportunities
Oversee and standardize team-wide tracking of institutional client meetings, prospective client interactions, and pitch appointments
Implement structured logging mechanisms to track appointment outcomes, follow-up actions, and progression through the sales funnel
Audit and ensure data completeness and quality across all logged sales activities
Act as the primary administrator and SME for the team's CRM platform (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
Streamline and enforce sales process compliance, data entry standards, and institutional account tagging
Implement tools and integrations that reduce administrative friction for sales reps while capturing maximum operational data
Lead the operational preparation for weekly sales team meetings, pipeline review sessions, and performance updates
About you
4–7 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Management, or Commercial Analytics, preferably within Financial Services, Institutional Asset Management, Enterprise SaaS, or Corporate Banking
Mastery of CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics 365, or specialized institutional CRMs) with experience building custom objects, reports, and dashboards
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets
Strong experience with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
Solid understanding of institutional sales cycles, long-lead relationship building, and key account management workflows
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data into executive summaries
Strong analytical mindset with strict attention to detail and data accuracy
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field
Experience integrating calendar/appointment scheduling software with CRM systems
Familiarity with sales enablement tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft, Gong) and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, PitchBook)
