Job summary

Mondelēz International in Southeast Asia seeks a Sales Operations Manager to lead commercial excellence across Modern Trade in Malaysia and Singapore, driving execution planning, performance management, and data-driven decision making.

The role partners with Sales Leadership, Finance, Marketing and IT, building dashboards in Power BI, optimizing trade spend, and aligning local with regional strategies to fuel sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Marketing, or related field (MBA is an advantage).
• 6–8+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Excellence, or Sales within FMCG or related industries.
• Proven experience in sales operations, performance management, and analytics.
• Strong understanding of Malaysia and Singapore market dynamics across channels.
• Experience managing trade spend and commercial budgets.
• No Relocation support available.

Responsibilities

• Lead Sales Operations & Execution Excellence to improve field productivity across Modern Trade.
• Own the sales planning cycle, build dashboards/reports, and drive quarterly/monthly reviews.
• Manage trade spend and budgeting; support governance frameworks.
• Leverage data analytics to generate insights on sales, distribution, and trends.
• Lead adoption of sales systems and liaise with IT/regional teams on improvements.
• Collaborate with Sales Leadership and cross-functional teams to align regional strategies.
• Develop analytics capability within the team and foster accountability.
