Job summary

Worldgate Express Services Sdn Bhd is seeking a Business Operations Executive (Sales & Operations) to handle sales enquiries, quotations, orders, and customer requirements, while coordinating daily operations with suppliers and customers.

Fresh graduates or candidates with relevant experience in sales, retail, operations, purchasing, or administration are encouraged to apply. Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia, plus MS Office skills, are essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in sales, retail, business operations, purchasing, administration or customer service will be an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with a positive attitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good negotiation and coordination skills.
• Able to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Well-organised, responsible and able to follow up on tasks independently.
• Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills.
• Possess own transport and a valid driving licence will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle and follow up on sales enquiries, quotations, orders and customer requirements.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Support sales and marketing activities, promotions and other business development initiatives.
• Source, evaluate and liaise with vendors/suppliers for products, pricing and availability.
• Compare vendor quotations and assist in negotiating pricing and commercial terms.
• Coordinate daily operations, including customer orders, purchasing, delivery arrangements and order fulfilment.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers and internal teams to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Monitor order status and resolve operational issues when required.
• Follow up with customers on outstanding payments and payment status.
• Assist in preparing billing information, invoices and supporting documents.
• Maintain proper records of sales, purchases, payments and operational documents.
• Prepare basic sales and operational reports for management.
• Perform other duties and ad-hoc assignments as required by Management.
