Job summary

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities to achieve sales revenue and gross profit targets.
• Conduct sales visits, presentations, negotiations, and follow-ups to acquire new customers and expand existing accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, overseas agents, vendors, and business partners.
• Prepare and manage customer quotations, commercial proposals, tenders, and freight pricing.
• Negotiate competitive rates with shipping lines, transporters, and logistics service providers to maximise profitability.
• Handle customer enquiries, sales leads, bookings, and quotation follow-ups to improve business conversion.
• Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Customer Relations, and other departments to ensure smooth service delivery and accurate billing.
• Monitor customer credit status and follow up on outstanding payments with relevant departments.
• Track sales performance, customer pipelines, and business development activities, and prepare regular sales reports.
• Monitor market trends, identify business opportunities, and recommend strategies to improve sales performance and profitability.
• Ensure proper sales documentation, pricing records, and compliance with company policies.
• Perform other sales and business development duties as assigned by the superior.

Job description

Requirements:

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with at least 2 years of relevant experience in the logistics industry will have an added advantage.

Preferably Male.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Fluent in English and Malay; proficiency in additional languages such as Mandarin would be an advantage.

Responsible, hardworking, and able to work under pressure.

Possess good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
