• Liaise with customers regarding product specifications, pricing, delivery and technical requirements
• Coordinate with the engineering and technical team for technical clarification when required
• Liaise with suppliers, including suppliers from China, regarding product availability, specifications, pricing and delivery

Job description

We are looking for a motivated and confident Sales & Marketing Executive to join our new trading and supply business specializing in boiler spare parts, electrical components, industrial equipment and related products. The successful candidate will be responsible for both indoor and outdoor sales, developing new customers, maintaining existing customer relationships, preparing quotations, conducting site visits and coordinating with suppliers, including suppliers from China.

Key responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers

Identify new business opportunities and generate sales leads

Conduct indoor and outdoor sales activities, including customer visits and site visits

Promote and introduce spare parts, electrical components and related industrial products

Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products based on their technical needs

Prepare quotations, product information and sales proposals

Follow up on quotations, enquiries and sales leads to secure orders

Liaise with customers regarding product specifications, pricing, delivery and technical requirements

Coordinate with the engineering and technical team for technical clarification when required

About you

Background in Mechanical Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field

Basic understanding of electrical components, equipment and technical specifications

Good communication, negotiation and presentation skills

Good command of English

Mandarin-speaking ability is an advantage due to communication with Chinese suppliers and customers

Confident, presentable and professional when dealing with customers

Strong interpersonal skills and customer-oriented attitude

Self-motivated, proactive and target-driven

Willing to travel for customer visits and site assignments

Possess a valid driving licence

With commission on sales/performance
