Job summary

Delima Kinta Sdn Bhd (TAIPING) is seeking a Sales Manager to lead the sales team focusing on automotive products and services. You will drive revenue targets, monitor KPIs, and align strategies with company goals.

The role requires strong knowledge of product ranges, sales procedures, and financing schemes. You will manage promotions, training, and reporting while maintaining professional client relations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales team to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.

• Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts and presentations for Management review.
• Supervise and guide Sales Advisors in day-to-day operations.
• Monitor performance and provide coaching and mentoring to the team.

To lead, manage, and drive the sales team towards achieving overall revenue targets, customer satisfaction, and market share growth for the company's automotive products and services. Responsible for strategic planning, team development, and execution of sales initiatives in alignment with company goals.

Key responsibilities

Manage the sales operation and ensure profit and sales targets on new cars are achieved through implementation of appropriate strategies and activities

Achieve sales targets, revenues and overall department KPIs and performance expectations

Remain knowledgeable of the range of products and services, key processes, business initiatives, industry trends and competition to assist the sales division in accomplishing company goals

Lead market penetration efforts for new models, variants, and promotions

Be conversant with all sales procedures and bank procedures, including registration of motor vehicles, hire purchase and financing schemes, vehicle insurance schemes, and new car sales delivery processes

Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts and presentations for Management review

Plan and assist in managing sales promotions, cold canvassing and prospecting exercises

Supervise and guide a team of Sales Advisors in day-to-day operations aligned with Company goals

Lead and monitor individual and team performance, and take corrective action when underperformance is identified

Monitor and conduct in-house training, coaching and mentoring to Sales Advisors

About you

Knowledgeable of the range of products and services, key processes, business initiatives, industry trends and competition

Conversant with all sales procedures and bank procedures, including registration of motor vehicles, hire purchase and financing schemes, vehicle insurance schemes, and new car sales delivery processes

Able to build and maintain good working relationships with office and corporate clients, relevant government agencies, members of the press, financiers, insurers and suppliers

Able to project a professional image of the Company to the public

Capable of maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with sales processes and Company's SOP
