Job summary

DK MOTOR SDN BHD in Taiping, Malaysia, is seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to drive new car sales (Omoda/Jaeco) and achieve quarterly quotas. You will maintain product knowledge, demonstrate vehicles, and qualify customer requirements to build confidence.

You will handle registrations, financing options, warranties, and promotions; prepare daily reports and keep price books updated, while presenting a professional image and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years sales experience in automotive or retail environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build customer rapport.
• Ability to understand customer needs and present vehicle options effectively.

Responsibilities

• Sell new cars (Omoda/Jaeco) and meet sales quotas.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services.
• Attend product training and stay compliant with dealership requirements.
• Qualify customer requirements and demonstrate vehicles with confidence.

Job description

Responsible for selling new cars (Omoda/Jaeco) and attaining the sales volume quota.

Key responsibilities

Maintain full knowledge of the range of products and services and keep abreast of the latest updates

Ensure compliance with dealership requirements in terms of product knowledge by attending Proton product training

Qualify customer requirements and present and demonstrate products to give customers confidence in the product

Prepare daily sales reports, update the sales-kit and current price books regularly as necessary, and maintain and update records of customers and prospects history

Be conversant with all sales procedures including registration of motor vehicles, hire purchase and other financing schemes, vehicle insurance schemes, new car sales delivery process, warranty claims and conditions

Participate in sales promotions, cold canvassing and prospecting exercises as required by the Company

Prepare necessary documents for customers acknowledgement in the new car delivery process and adhere to the requirements

Constantly project a professional image of the Company to the public

Assist in promoting service packages and campaigns

Maintain cleanliness and good house-keeping (5S) of the showroom and workplace according to Standard Guidelines
