Job summary

You will recruit DSAs, promote Astro services to commercial clients, and achieve monthly revenue targets while providing excellent customer support and cross-selling opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Business/Commerce/Communications.
• 1–3 years of consumer sales experience.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; good communication skills.
• Knowledge of local market and geography; strong networking.

Responsibilities

• Guide, monitor and motivate DSAs on daily sales activities.
• Train and create sales activities; recruit DSAs when applicable.
• Promote and acquire commercial customers; convert residential to commercial packages.
• Promote SMEs customers & key corporate accounts.
• Conduct field visits and blitz to reach Potential Commercial Subscribers with DSAs.
• Achieve monthly revenue and new sign-up targets for personal and team.
• Handle customer inquiries and upsell existing commercial customers.
• Monitor customers portfolio and cross-sell packages.
• Make cold calls to selected commercial database for sign-up appointments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

What you will do:

• To guide, monitor and motivate DSAs on their daily sales activities.
• To train & create sales activities for DSAs. To recruit DSAs when applicable.
• To promote and acquire commercial customers as new sign-ups to the Astro Service and convert business premises using Astro residential packages to Astro commercial packages subscribers.
• To promote and acquire SMEs customers & key corporate account.
• To conducts field visit and blitz to reach the Potential Commercial Subscribers together with DSAs.
• To achieve monthly revenue & new sign up target for personal and team.
• To handle customer enquiry and up selling existing commercial customers.
• To monitor customers portfolio and cross selling commercial packages to new and existing customers.
• To make cold calls to selected commercial database for sign up appointment.

Who are you:

• Degree/Diploma holders in Business/Commerce/Communications or in any relevant field
• Minimum 1 to 3 years experience in sales of consumer goods or equivalent.
• Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia and other dialects.
• Good communication skills.
• Good training, coaching and motivation skills.
• Knowledge of local market opportunities.
• Wide contacts with potential business partners and local authorities.
• Good knowledge of the local geography.
