Job description
Overall responsibility in providing quotation to all local agents and forwarder or direct customer in different regions.
Pay visits to all the local agents as well as attend exhibitions overseas to understand the market and explore business opportunities.
Liaise with all local agents to get monthly shipment forecast.
Work closely with Equipment Control Team, Customer Service and Procurement Team to ensure smooth shipment. Solve any problem arising from the shipments.
Creating and input quotation number in the system for any firm order.
Supervise daily tasks for any outstanding order and timely follow up with customers to close the deal.
Closely monitoring ocean freight in the region and quote to customers.
Reaching out to potential customer leads through cold calling.
Follow-up closely with Account department for any outstanding payment with customers.
Attend to public query for any related shipment enquiries.
Co-ordinate sales effort and monitoring local shipments & empty repositioning movement with team members, management, and other departments.

Requirements
Minimum 1 year of working experience in Logistics/Forwarding/Iso-Tank/Dry Containers Sales/Commercial background is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
