Job summary

GLOBAL TRACK LINES M SDN BHD is seeking a Sales Support professional in Malaysia to handle inquiries for exports and imports, coordinate with overseas agents, and secure best freight rates. The role requires maintaining strong customer service and accurate documentation while supporting the sales team.

You will quote rates for Sea and Air freight, coordinate with agents, and follow up leads to convert inquiries into bookings, contributing to revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Possess at least Higher Secondary/STPM or Diploma in related field.
• Minimum 1- 2 years of working customer service/documentations/operations experiences in forwarding/shipping environment;
• Multitasking with communications and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Contact existing customers and gain inquiries for exports and imports.
• Deal with overseas agents for all inquiries by email.
• Obtain best shipping rates and quote customers and overseas agents for Sea freight, Air freight, Customs forwarding, warehousing and door delivery.
• Gather competitor and customer information to create awareness of local market trends and competitor activities.
• Share information within the sales team to improve service against competition.
• Follow up on quotes to gain business and negotiate freight rates to increase revenue.
• Negotiate costing to obtain bookings while maximizing profitability.
• Offer outstanding customer service and prompt response to inquiries.
• Register customer complaints and report to management for corrective action.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Sharing information within the sales team members in order to improve and identify the most appropriate service against the competition.

Following up all quotes to gain business and negotiating Freight rates to increase revenue.

Negotiating costing to obtain booking whilst maximizing profitability and gaining the business.

Offer outstanding customer service and prompt response to relevant customers inquiries.

Registering any customer complaint and reporting to the superior and the management for immediate corrective action.

Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned or required from time to time.

Requirements:
