Job summary

Saloma Legacy Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead the sales team and drive revenue growth in a full-time role. You will develop and implement sales strategies, monitor performance, and report to senior management to ensure targets are met.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in sales management, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of at least 5 - 8 years in a sales management or similar leadership role.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in sales management tools and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to develop and implement effective sales plans.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Knowledge of the Malaysian market and business environment is an advantage.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or a related field.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and manage the sales team to achieve departmental and company sales targets.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans to drive revenue growth.
• Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reporting to senior management.
• Identify new business opportunities and market segments for expansion.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and accounts.
• Conduct sales training and coaching to enhance team capabilities and performance.
• Prepare and manage sales budgets and forecasts.
• Liaise between the sales team and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Analyse competitor activity and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations and negotiations as required.
