Job summary

Private Advertiser in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a driven sales professional to grow its freight forwarding and logistics business. You will generate new opportunities through cold calling, present services, prepare quotes, and negotiate terms while building long-term client relationships.

The role offers a basic salary of RM3k–RM5k with unlimited commissions, quarterly incentives, yearly bonus, medical and dental claims, and a flexible remote working arrangement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in freight forwarding/logistics is preferred.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through cold calling and appointment setting.
• Develop new client accounts while maintaining relationships with existing customers.
• Meet with clients to present freight forwarding and logistics services.
• Prepare and provide accurate quotations based on customer requirements.
• Negotiate pricing and service terms to secure new business.
• Follow up with prospects and customers until bookings are confirmed and provide after-sales support.
• Respond to customer enquiries and recommend suitable logistics solutions.
• Update customer information and sales activities in the database.
• Coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Comply with attendance requirements, including clock-in and clock-out procedures.

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Working Hours: 9:00am - 6:00pm (Flexible Working)

Salary: RM3-5k Basic Salary + Unlimited Sales Commission (depends on experience & last drawn)

Self-motivated, energetic, outgoing, and customer-oriented personality.

Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

High level of stress tolerance and adaptability.

Willing to travel locally and overseas on an ad-hoc basis.
