Job summary

MEGA DISCOVERY (KL) SDN. BHD. is seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to drive growth in bakery packaging across Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, and parts of Selangor and Johor.

You will develop sales strategies, build client relationships, and collaborate with marketing and product teams to expand the customer base. The role requires at least 2 years in B2B sales, strong forecasting skills, and fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience.
• Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
• Positive attitude, self-sufficient and responsible.
• Strong understanding of sales forecasting and market analysis.
• Experience in cold calling, lead generation, negotiation and closing deals.
• Ability to manage sales activities in the designated territory and meet targets.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel and Word; willing to learn new software.
• Willing to travel to explore opportunities across East Coast.

Job description

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets within the designated regions of South of Selangor (Sepang, Semenyih), Negeri Sembilan, Melaka and North side of Johor (Segamat, Muar).

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the bakery packaging sector, expanding the company's customer base.

Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and emerging trends in the bakery packaging industry.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, providing excellent customer service and support.

Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective customers.

Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring profitability and adherence to company policies.

Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management, tracking progress against targets and identifying areas for improvement.

Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the packaging industry or a related field.

Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base.

Positiveattitude, self-sufficient and have sense of responsibilities

Strong understanding of sales forecasting techniques and the ability to analyze market trends to develop sales strategies.

Demonstrated expertise in various sales techniques, including cold calling, lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals.

Ability to independently manage sales activities within the designated territory (South of Selangor (Sepang, Semenyih), Negeri Sembilan, Melaka and North side of Johor (Segamat, Muar)) and achieve sales targets.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Words and willing to learn new software systems.

Willing to travel to explore business opportunities across East Coast.
