Job summary

Mega Flour Sdn Bhd, a local based company with branches nationwide, is seeking a Business Development Executive in Malaysia to aggressively pursue new business opportunities and maintain client relationships. You will coordinate with supply chain, oversee orders, and build strong product knowledge to respond to customer needs.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin is preferred to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Qualifications

• Professional certificate, diploma, or bachelor's degree in any field.
• Passionate about food, bakery and culinary.
• Experience in sales; training provided if no experience.
• Good negotiation and problem solving skills.
• Self-motivated and goal oriented with a results focus.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin preferred; Mandarin helpful for clients.

Responsibilities

• Aggressively develop new business opportunities.
• Encourage timely collections and maintain client relationships.
• Coordinate with supply chain and oversee special orders, stock reservations and order fulfilment.
• Build and maintain good product knowledge and stay aware of market trends.

• Provide support to Marketing activities and prepare sales reports and plans.
• Perform other tasks as required.

Key Accountability

Aggressively develop new business opportunities.

Take action in tactful way to encourage timely collection.

To maintain good relationships with current clients and new clients.

Coordinate with supply chain and oversee special orders, make stock reservation and ensure order fulfilment.

Build and maintain good product knowledge.

Stay current with market trends and competitors to identify improvements.

Identify customer’s needs and translate them into concrete offerings

Provide support to Marketing activities

Prepare periodical sales report and sales and development plans.

Perform other tasks as and when required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Possess Professional Certificate/ Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in any field

Passionate about food, bakery, culinary.

Experience in Sales (Training provided if no experience).

Good negotiation and problems solving skills.

Self-motivated and goal oriented, desire to deliver results.

Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin (Preferred). We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
