Job summary

Engtex Metals (Utara) Sdn Bhd, part of Engtex Group Berhad, is seeking a results-driven sales professional to drive Steel Bar & BRC sales from our Penang plant.

The role requires excellent communication, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to expand market coverage while maintaining excellent rapport with customers.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of building materials sales experience, own transport, willingness to travel, and proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant sales experience in building materials / project sales, metal/steel related products and hardware.
• Possess own transport and willingness to travel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong sales and negotiation abilities, good problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and other local dialects is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Sales of STEEL BAR & BRC and related items.
• Have good business contacts, able to provide up-to-date information pertaining to the market's direction etc.
• Able to expand market/clientele coverage, to maximize sales and maintain good rapport with the customers at all times.
• To ensure the monthly and yearly sales target is met.

Engtex Metals (Utara) Sdn Bhd is under Engtex Group Berhad which is one of leading BRC mesh producer and hard drawn wire in Malaysia. We currently have five manufacturing facilities in Malaysia and our wire mesh fencing products are manufactured from our Bukit Minyak Penang plant .

Requirements

At least 2 years of relevant sales experience in the building materials / project sales, Metal/Steel related products and hardware.

Posses own transport and willing to travel.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong sales and negotiation abilities, good problem solving and decision-making skills.

Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and other local dialects is an added advantage.
