Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a dynamic sales professional to drive revenue through strategic sales planning, business development, and key account management in the wine and beverage sector.

You will identify new opportunities, coordinate with clients and partners, manage events and function bookings, and ensure service excellence from inquiry to post‑sale follow‑up.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth for wine and alcoholic beverages.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities including corporate clients, restaurants, hotels, and events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by Management.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategy.
  • Promote and sell wine products to retail, corporate, and event clients.
  • Recommend wine selections and pairings for functions and events.
  • Organize wine promotions, tasting sessions, and marketing activities.
  • Develop wine packages and promotional offers.
  • Promote and manage sales of function room and meeting facilities for private events.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales agreements for clients.
  • Coordinate with clients on event requirements including wine selections.
  • Liaise with operations to ensure successful event execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business.
  • Handle inquiries, follow up on negotiations, and assist in closing sales.
  • Address customer feedback and maintain high service standards.
  • Assist in processing purchase orders, invoices, delivery orders, and credit notes.
  • Maintain updated price lists and promotional records.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and distributors regarding product availability.
  • Monitor stock levels of wine and alcoholic beverages to support sales activities.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules with warehouse and logistics teams.
  • Track incoming shipments and ensure proper documentation.
  • Assist in stock reconciliation and inventory reporting.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with local alcohol licensing laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in maintaining and monitoring alcohol licensing documentation and renewals.
  • Prepare required documentation for inspections, audits, and regulatory authorities.
  • Track sales performance and prepare weekly sales reports — submitted to the Managing Director every Saturday.
  • Assist Management in budgeting, forecasting, and sales analysis.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge; assist in sharing wine information and recommendations with staff and clients.
  • Provide guidance to service teams on wine recommendations and upselling techniques.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Management from time to time.

1. Sales Strategy & Business Development

  • b. Recommend wine selections and pairings to customers and clients for functions and events.
  • c. Assist in organizing and managing wine promotions, tasting sessions, and marketing activities.
  • d. Support the development of wine packages and promotional offers to increase sales.
  • a. Promote and manage sales of the function room and meeting facilities for private events, corporate functions, and celebrations.
  • b. Prepare quotations, event proposals, and sales agreements for clients.
  • c. Coordinate with clients on event requirements, including wine and beverage selections.
  • d. Liaise with operations and service teams to ensure successful event execution and customer satisfaction.
4. Client Relationship Management
  • a. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and long‑term partnerships.
  • b. Handle customer inquiries, follow up on negotiations, and assist in closing sales.
