Job summary

FENGYUAN INDUSTRIAL & TRADING SDN. BHD. is expanding its Malaysia-based sales team to develop the local market for steel structure fabrication and construction steel products.

You will source clients, prepare quotations, and manage project negotiations to secure orders while coordinating with our China factory on specifications and timelines. Fresh graduates are welcome, with priority to those with experience in steel structures or building materials sales.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Civil Engineering or related fields.
• Trilingual (Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia) strongly preferred.
• Fresh graduates welcome; experience in steel structure or building materials sales prioritized.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customers and projects in construction, factory development, warehouse and industrial building sectors.
• Follow up inquiries, provide product introductions, prepare quotations and negotiate.
• Liaise with customers, contractors, developers and construction companies to maintain relationships.
• Coordinate with China factory on production specs, delivery schedule and progress.
• Track project progress, payments and after-sales communication.
• Attend site visits, meetings and industry events as required.

Job description

Responsible for local market development, customer sourcing, project quotation, sales follow-up and client relationship management for steel structure fabrication and construction steel products. This role covers local Malaysia projects and Southeast Asia export business.

Key responsibilities

Develop new customers and potential projects in the construction, factory development, warehouse, and industrial building sectors.

Follow up project inquiries, provide professional product introduction, prepare quotations, and conduct business negotiation.

Liaise with customers, contractors, developers and construction companies to maintain stable business relationships.

Coordinate with the China manufacturing factory on production specifications, technical details, delivery schedule and project progress.

Track project progress, payment collection, and after-sales communication to ensure smooth project delivery.

Collect local market information, competitor trends and industry demands, and provide regular sales reports.

Attend site visits, business meetings and industry events as required.

About you

Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Civil Engineering or related fields.

Trilingual (Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia) is strongly preferred for local and overseas client communication.

Fresh graduates are welcome; candidates with construction, steel structure or building material sales experience will be prioritized.

Basic understanding of construction works, steel structure products or engineering projects is an advantage.

Proactive, independent, result-oriented, with good communication and negotiation skills.

Able to work independently, develop customers and achieve sales targets.

Possess own transport is a plus.

Prior experience in the steel structure, construction or engineering field is an advantage.

Basic salary + High sales commission + Performance bonus
