Job summary

HQ Pack Sdn Bhd invites applications for a Sales Engineer with a basic technical background to support service and manage existing accounts while pursuing new prospects. You will respond to RFQs, collaborate with in-house engineers and customer service to deliver solutions, and work toward achieving sales targets.

The role requires a diploma in engineering/marketing/business, reading engineering drawings, and 2-3 years in sales.

Qualifications

• Diploma in engineering or marketing/business discipline.
• Prefer 2-3 years in sales and commercial activities.
• Able to read engineering drawing and BOM structure.
• Prior semiconductor industry experience is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English; tri-lingual ability is an advantage.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to deal with people at all levels.
• High attention to detail and meticulous in a consistent manner.
• Initiative and self-motivated.
• Willingness to travel when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Service and manage existing accounts and respond timely on RFQ.
• Collaborate with in-house engineers and customer service to provide solutions to customer enquiries and requirements.
• Manage existing accounts and new prospects to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
• Maintain and improve service quality by enforcing sales standards and timely responses.
• Regularly report customer and competitor activity.
• Communicate with a high level of information accuracy and professional communication.
• Other duties as assigned by superior.

Sales Engineer (with basic technical background)

Service and manage existing account with respond timely on RFQ including all related sales issue and activity.

Collaborate and working closely with in-house engineer and customer service to demonstrate and provide solution to customer enquiry and requirement.

Manage existing accounts and new prospects to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.

Maintain and increasing quality service by establishing and enforcing sales organization standard with responding to customer on time.

Regularly reporting customer and competitor activity.

Effective correspondence with high level of information accuracy and skill of communication with customer.

Other assigned duties by superior as and when needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

Diploma in any engineering or marketing/business administration discipline.

Preferable 2-3 years in sales and commercial activities.

Able to read engineering drawing and BOM structure.

Those with prior working experience in semiconductor industry will be added advantage.

Proficiency in English, and able to speak tri-lingual will be added advantage.

Good interpersonal skills and able to deal with people at all levels.

Pay high attention to details & meticulous in consistent manner.

Have the Initiative and self-motivated person.

Require travelling when necessary.
