Job summary

Kingsley Land Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will design electrical systems, perform feasibility studies, and ensure compliance with applicable safety standards and local regulations.

This role requires coordinating with project managers, architects and other engineering disciplines to ensure effective integration of electrical systems, and overseeing on-site installation, testing and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or higher
• 3–5 years post-graduation experience in electrical design and project delivery
• Proficient in AutoCAD, ETAP and DIALux
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian electrical regulations, codes and safety standards

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems, schematics and drawings using industry-standard software
• Conduct feasibility studies, load calculations and power distribution analysis
• Coordinate with project managers, architects and other engineers for integration of electrical systems
• Oversee on-site electrical installation, testing and commissioning activities
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian regulations and safety requirements
• Troubleshoot technical issues and propose corrective actions
• Prepare technical reports, specifications and project documentation

Kingsley Land Sdn Bhd is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical design, technical assessments, and project delivery, ensuring that all electrical systems and installations comply with applicable safety standards, technical requirements, and Malaysian regulations.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to diverse projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and supporting the Company's engineering objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems, schematics, and technical drawings using industry-standard software.
• Conduct feasibility studies, technical assessments, load calculations, and power distribution analysis.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, consultants, and other engineering disciplines to ensure effective integration of electrical systems.
• Oversee on-site electrical installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Malaysian electrical regulations, safety requirements, and industry standards.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, drawings, and project documentation.
• Provide technical input for the procurement of electrical equipment and materials.
• Support and guide junior engineering personnel on technical matters and best practices.

Requirements

• Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Professional Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant post-graduation experience in electrical design and project delivery.
• Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, DIALux, or equivalent tools.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian electrical regulations, codes, safety standards, and industry practices.
• Practical knowledge of power distribution systems, lighting design, and electrical safety.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Design engineering experience is essential; knowledge of renewable energy systems or energy management is an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
