Job summary

Kumpulan Abex Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia seeks a capable sales engineer to develop business opportunities, promote technical products, and deliver compelling solutions to clients.

You will visit customers, present demonstrations, prepare quotations, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure project delivery. Fresh graduates are welcome, Mandarin communication is required, and travel to outstation locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop business opportunities by expanding existing accounts and identifying new ones to meet sales targets.
• Engage in technical sales and product presentations through customer visits, presentations, and demonstrations.
• Deliver technical solutions by understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable products.
• Manage sales from enquiry to delivery by preparing quotations, proposals, tenders and forecasts, coordinating with internal teams for project execution and after-sales support.
• Engage in continuous professional development to build technical and industry knowledge.

Job description

• Develop Business Opportunities – Develop existing accounts and identify new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
• Technical Sales & Product Presentation - Promote and sell technical products and solutions through customer visits, presentations, and demonstrations.
• Deliver Technical Solutions - Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products/technical solutions.
• Manage Sales from Enquiry to Delivery - Prepare quotations, proposals, tenders, and sales forecasts while coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution, after-sales support, and customer satisfaction.
• Professional Development – Continuously build technical and industry knowledge through training, self-learning and engagement with principals.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (E&E, Mechatronics, Telecommunications), Physics, or related disciplines
• Mandarin speaking proficiency to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Exposure to electrical and electronics, test and measurement, photonics equipment will be an added advantage
• Possession of own transportation (car) and willingness to travel outstation
