Job summary

Maytech Cleanroom Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is seeking a Sales Engineer to join our Mantin, Negeri Sembilan facility on a full-time basis. You will bridge our technical expertise with customer requirements, identify opportunities, and guide clients through the sales process with professionalism.

You will conduct technical assessments, prepare proposals, and deliver product demonstrations while travelling to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or a related technical field is required.
• Proven sales experience in B2B technical or industrial sectors is preferred (cleanroom tech, HVAC, or manufacturing solutions).
• Strong knowledge of cleanroom design, air handling systems, contamination control, and related standards.
• Willingness to travel to client sites for assessments and presentations.
• Experience in preparing technical proposals, quotations and project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify potential customers in pharmaceutical, semiconductor, biotechnology and healthcare sectors.
• Conduct technical facility assessments to determine cleanroom requirements and specifications.
• Prepare detailed proposals and quotations aligning solutions with customer needs and budgets.
• Deliver product presentations and technical demonstrations to clients.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients throughout the sales cycle.
• Provide technical support during pre-sales and post-sales phases to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and project management teams to ensure feasible solutions and timely delivery.
• Gather market feedback to inform product development and service improvements.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
