Job summary

Sumitomo Electric Hardmetal Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. is seeking a detail‑oriented clerical assistant to support order processing, invoicing, and logistics coordination in our Malaysia office.

You will handle customer inquiries, prepare shipping documents, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries. The role requires a Diploma in a related field and 1–2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, good communication, and strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in related field is required.
• At least 1–2 years of working experience in the related field; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• Process customer orders and issue orders to vendors.
• Receive goods from vendors and prepare shipping documents and LC arrangements.

Job description

Perform clerical duties pertaining to business transaction, including processing customer’s orders, issues orders to vendor , receiving goods from vendors, Letter of credit arrangements , shipping document preparation, billing of goods to customers, scheduling deliveries and payment reminder.

Handling orders by phone, email, or mail and checking the orders have the correct prices, discounts, and product numbers. Response and provide timely reply to customer.

Supporting account software on necessary data entry and perform processing when required.

Collaborating closely with team members to ensure smooth operation, efficient communication, marketing, queries, and deliveries are handled efficiently.

Perform simple bookkeeping duties maintaining transactional documents and related documents, including their disposal when necessary.

Required Skill

Diploma in related field

At least 1 to 2 years of working experience in the related field. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

Computer literacy including basic word processing knowledge -Proficient in Microsoft office.

Strong sense of responsibility, highly energized, independent, pleasant personality and a good attitude.

Good verbal and written in communication and interpersonal skills.

Languages

Able to speak and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
