Qualifications

• Experience in a sales support, administrative, or coordinator role within hospitality or customer-facing industries.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; Bahasa Malaysia helpful.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and scheduling sales meetings, site visits, and client presentations.
• Preparing and compiling sales proposals, quotations, and contracts for clients.
• Maintaining and updating client databases and sales records with accurate information.
• Processing sales orders and ensuring all documentation is complete and submitted correctly.
• Liaising between the sales team, operations and other departments to ensure smooth execution of sales agreements.
• Managing correspondence with clients via email, phone, and other channels.
• Tracking sales performance metrics and preparing reports for management review.
• Assisting with promotional materials, event coordination, and sales initiatives.
• Handling general administrative duties including filing, scheduling, and data entry.
• Supporting the sales team with research on potential clients and market opportunities.

About the role

We are seeking a Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic sales and administrative team at our Bayan Lepas, Penang location. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting our sales operations and ensuring seamless coordination between our sales team, clients, and other departments. As Sales Coordinator, you will be instrumental in driving our sales efficiency and maintaining strong client relationships through exceptional organisational and administrative support.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinating and scheduling sales meetings, site visits, and client presentations

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a sales support, administrative assistant, or similar coordinator role within the hospitality or customer-facing industry
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems
• Attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling contracts and financial documentation
• Professional demeanour with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• Basic understanding of hotel operations and sales processes is preferred
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
