Our client is seeking a Sales & Marketing Executive to join their team! What you'll be doing?
- Handling sales enquiries: Respond to sales enquiries received via phone, email, WhatsApp, social media, and online booking platforms.
- Preparing sales documentation: Prepare quotations, proposals, contracts, and event orders for corporate, group and leisure guests.
- Coordinating bookings and events: Coordinate reservations, room bookings, event schedules, and customer requirements with relevant departments.
- Maintaining records: Keep customer databases, sales records, and booking systems accurate and up to date.
- Converting enquiries into bookings: Follow up with prospective clients and help turn enquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Supporting marketing initiatives: Support the Sales & Marketing team with promotional campaigns, exhibitions, and customer engagement activities.
- Preparing reports: Prepare sales reports, occupancy forecasts, and administrative documentation.
- Delivering great service: Ensure excellent customer service with prompt responses to guest enquiries.
- Managing online platforms: Assist in managing OTA platforms, website bookings, and social media enquiries.
- Taking on additional duties: Perform other sales and administrative duties as assigned by management, bringing flexibility and enthusiasm to the role.
Who are they looking for?
- Relevant qualification: A Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is required.
- Industry experience: 1 to 3 years of working experience in the hotel, resort, hospitality, tourism, or event management industry is preferred; candidates with no prior experience are welcomed to apply.
- Industry background: Experience in hotel, resort, travel agency, MICE, corporate event, or team-building industries is highly regarded.
- Communication skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia are needed, with Mandarin considered an added advantage for engaging with a wider range of clients.
- IT proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and online booking systems is important for this role.
- Technical familiarity: Experience with hotel reservation systems, CRM software, social media platforms, and digital marketing tools would be an added advantage.
- Multitasking ability: Comfort with managing multiple enquiries, working independently, and multitasking efficiently is valued.
- Positive attitude: A customer-oriented mindset, positive attitude, and willingness to learn are welcomed.
- Mobility and location: Own transport and willingness to work at a resort location are required.
