About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Sales Consultant to join the team at Seong Hoe Motors Sdn Bhd. This is a full-time position based in Melaka, where you will be at the forefront of our sales operations, directly engaging with customers and driving revenue growth. As a Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in representing our premium motor vehicles and building lasting relationships with clients. This position offers the opportunity to develop your sales expertise whilst working within a dynamic automotive sales environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Greeting and welcoming prospective customers to the showroom, establishing rapport and understanding their automotive needs
• Providing detailed product knowledge and information about our premium motor vehicle range, highlighting key features and benefits
• Conducting thorough needs assessments to identify the most suitable vehicles for individual customers
• Preparing accurate quotations and presenting competitive pricing options to customers
• Negotiating sales terms and closing deals whilst maintaining professionalism and customer satisfaction
• Processing sales documentation and coordinating with administrative staff to ensure smooth transaction completion
• Following up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business and referrals
• Maintaining detailed customer records and sales data using company systems
• Meeting and exceeding individual sales targets and contributing to team performance objectives
• Attending product training sessions to stay current with vehicle specifications and market trends

What we’re looking for

• Proven sales experience, preferably within the automotive or premium retail sector
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong customer relationships
• Strong negotiation abilities and a results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting sales targets
• Customer service excellence with the capacity to handle enquiries professionally and tactfully
• Proficiency in using sales management systems and Microsoft Office applications
• A valid driving licence and willingness to undertake test drives with customers
• Knowledge of the Malaysian automotive market and premium vehicle segments is advantageous
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative sales team
• Professional appearance and presentation standards appropriate for a premium automotive environment
• Fluency in English and Malay; additional languages are a bonus
