Job summary

S&P Global in Penang seeks a Sales Compensation Analyst to ensure health and accuracy of the sales compensation data platform. You will oversee daily and monthly data ingestion feeds, run reconciliation scripts, and troubleshoot data anomalies before they affect calculations.

Collaborating with global stakeholders across US, UK, and APAC, you will drive improvements to data pipelines, implement fixes, and maintain SOPs and SOX controls supporting finance and commissions teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical experience in data operations, financial systems support, sales compensation analysis, or data pipeline validation.
• Advanced SQL: write, debug, and optimize complex SQL queries.
• Automation tooling: experience with Python (Pandas), Alteryx, or VBA/macros.
• Analytical problem solving with attention to detail on large financial datasets.
• Reporting tools: experience with Power BI for operational dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day data ingestion pipelines across billing and CRM feeds.
• Run pre-calculation validations and identify data anomalies.
• Triaging pipeline failures and implementing fixes with global teams.
• Perform end-of-month data loads and baseline calculations within close timetables.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and SOX controls for data processes.
• Create and publish KPI reports and data health dashboards.
