Job summary

S&P Global is seeking a Sales Compensation Analyst to ensure data integrity for the sales compensation data platform. You will oversee ingestion feeds, run validation checks, and partner with global stakeholders to drive data quality.

The role emphasizes automation with Python/Alteryx, Advanced SQL, and Power BI to monitor, validate, and report on data health for revenue calculations. Collaboration across US/UK/APAC regions is expected.

Qualifications

5+ years of technical experience in data operations, financial systems support, sales compensation analysis, or data pipeline validation.
Advanced SQL: write, debug, and optimize complex queries with joins and aggregations.
Automation tooling: build or maintain automation scripts using Python, Alteryx, or VBA/macros.
Analytical problem solving with attention to detail on financial datasets.
Experience with Power BI for dashboards and reporting.

Responsibilities

Monitor data ingestion pipelines across billing systems and CRM feeds.
Run pre-calculation validation checks and identify data anomalies.
Triage pipeline failures and implement fixes with global teams.
Execute month-end data loads and baseline calculations with strict SLAs.
Maintain reconciliation routines in Python/SQL/Alteryx to verify revenue vs inputs.
Investigate data bugs and document root causes for fixes.
Collaborate with Revenue Operations and Tech teams to clean source data.
