Job summary

Minarch Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a customer-focused Sales Associate to guide customers from initial enquiry through product selection, quotation and order confirmation.

You will welcome customers in the showroom and via WhatsApp, phone and other channels, understand space and budget, recommend furniture and configurations, explain options and delivery steps, prepare precise quotations, and follow up to hit individual and team sales targets while delivering a professional experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales or consultative sales preferred.
• Experience with furniture or interior design preferred.
• Experience preparing quotations or handling customer enquiries through WhatsApp or an ERP system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers through showroom and sales channels.

• Recommend suitable furniture, configurations, materials and colours.

Job description

We are looking for a customer-focused Sales Associate to guide customers from their first enquiry through product selection, quotation and order confirmation. This is a consultative sales role. You should enjoy understanding customer needs, explaining product options clearly and providing organised follow-up—not simply pushing for a quick sale.

Key responsibilities

Welcome and assist customers through the showroom, WhatsApp, phone and other sales channels.

Understand each customer's space, intended use, preferred style, material preferences, budget and timeline.

Recommend suitable furniture, configurations, materials and colours based on current product information.

Explain product features, customisation options, pricing and expected delivery process clearly.

Prepare accurate quotations and order details using Minarch's sales system.

Follow up consistently on new enquiries, showroom visits and outstanding quotations.

Maintain accurate customer, quotation and follow-up records.

Support customers with the required documents and payment-related steps during order confirmation.

Coordinate with the Sales Lead and operations team to ensure a clear handover after a sale.

Work towards individual and team sales targets while maintaining a professional customer experience.

Experience in furniture, home living, interior design or another considered-purchase category (preferred).

Experience preparing quotations or managing customer enquiries through WhatsApp or an ERP system (preferred).
