COUCH DESIGNS SDN BHD in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Retail Assistant Sales Manager to lead a small sales team, drive sales targets, and deliver outstanding customer service in our store. You will model the customer-first approach, coach staff, and ensure a welcoming and efficient shopping environment.

You will oversee daily store operations, stock, merchandising and staff training, while partnering with the Sales Manager to analyze trends.

• Proven experience as a Retail Assistant Sales Manager or similar role in the retail industry
• Excellent customer service and sales skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in using retail management software and point-of-sale systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, adaptable, and committed to delivering results
• Can earn money easily with shorter working hours compare to other retailer company

About the role

We are looking for a talented Retail Assistant Sales Manager to join our dynamic team at COUCH DESIGNS SDN BHD. In this full-time, in-person role based in Kuala Lumpur, you will play a key part in driving sales and delivering an exceptional customer experience in our retail store.

What you'll be doing

Supervise and support a team of retail sales assistants to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding customer service

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring efficient stock management, visual merchandising, and adherence to company policies

Identify and implement strategies to boost store performance, such as targeted marketing campaigns and staff training

Liaise with the sales manager to provide feedback and insights on customer trends and market dynamics

Assist with the recruitment, training, and development of the retail sales team

Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and solutions-oriented manner

11am-6pm / 2pm-9pm / 11am-9pm

weekdays working hours shorter then normal office hours

Alternate off on Public Holiday/Saturday/Sunday.
