Job summary

Klinik Novomed is seeking a Sales Assistant to support front-desk operations in Muar, Johor. The role focuses on patient reception, basic consultations on health packages, and assisting with product sales.

You will manage registrations and payments via POS, and help with promotional materials as needed. Candidates should have IT-related background and good communication skills, with the ability to work in shifts and maintain strong time discipline.

Qualifications

• Background or certificate in IT/CS/IS preferred.
• Able to communicate professionally with patients.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the clinic management system and troubleshoot basic IT issues.
• Assist patients with consultations on health packages or products and support counter sales.
• Process registrations and transactions using POS, including cash, bank transfer, and insurance payments.
• Help update social media or create simple digital promotional materials.
• Record medicines and medical supplies in the clinic database.

Key responsibilities

• Help maintain the clinic management system (CMS), manage basic computer/printer troubleshooting, and ensure the clinic internet network runs smoothly
• Receive patients, provide basic consultation on health packages or pharmaceutical products offered, and assist with counter product sales
• Handle patient registration, manage cash/bank transfer/insurance payment transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately
• Help update clinic social media or prepare simple digital promotional materials if needed
• Help record entry of medicines and medical supplies into the clinic database

About you

• Background, certificate, or high skills in IT / Computer Science / Information Systems highly preferred
• Can communicate in a friendly, polite, and professional manner with patients
• Can work according to shifts (if applicable) and have high time discipline
