Job summary

SERI MEDICLINIC in Silibin Ipoh, Perak is seeking a dedicated Clinic Assistant/Clinic Nurse to join our healthcare team. This full-time position delivers high-quality patient care and supports smooth clinic operations, including frontline patient interaction and essential clinical and administrative duties.

You will assist doctors, record vital signs, manage patient check-in, prepare for examinations, and help with medication dispensing and infection control.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in Nursing or Healthcare-related field or SPM.
• Registered Nurse or Clinic Assistant with relevant experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Responsible, hardworking and willing to learn.
• Must be able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians during consultations and minor procedures.
• Register patients and manage check-in; maintain records.
• Record vital signs (BP, temperature, pulse, respiration).
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Assist with wound care and basic medications.
• Sterilise and maintain clinical equipment per infection control.
• Maintain clean, hygienic and safe clinic environment.
• Support appointment scheduling and patient enquiries.

SERI MEDICLINIC is seeking a dedicated Clinic Assistant/Clinic Nurse to join our healthcare team in Silibin Ipoh, Perak. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring smooth clinic operations. As Clinic Assistant/Clinic Nurse, you will be at the frontline of patient interaction, providing essential clinical and administrative support that directly impacts patient experience and clinical outcomes. This role is integral to maintaining the efficiency and professionalism of our clinic whilst upholding the highest standards of patient care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist doctors and healthcare professionals during consultations, examinations and minor procedures
• Register patients, manage check-in and maintain accurate patient records
• Take and record vital signs including BP, temperature, pulse and respiratory rate
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures while ensuring comfort and privacy
• Assist with wound care, dressing changes and basic medical treatments as directed
• Prepare and assist with medication dispensing according to clinic procedures
• Sterilise, maintain and organise clinical equipment and instruments according to infection control protocols
• Maintain a clean, hygienic and safe clinic environment
• Monitor clinic inventory and assist with ordering medical supplies and consumables
• Document patient information and clinical observations accurately
• Provide basic patient education and health promotion information
• Assist with appointment scheduling, patient enquiries and other administrative duties
• Support smooth daily clinic operations and workflow
