Job summary

PIC Engineering And Services in Malaysia is seeking a Sales & Application Engineer to promote our process control systems and equipment for level, flow, pressure, temperature and analytical measurement, as well as valve test bench and valve repair machinery.

You will develop product knowledge, prepare proposals, manage sales activities, and provide pre- and post-sales support while maintaining strong customer relations and achieving targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation & Control or Engineering.
• At least 2 years sales and marketing experience in instrumentations related to process industries.
• Willing to travel within Malaysia and overseas occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Develop product knowledge and promote company products.
• Prepare proposals for products, systems or packages.
• Maintain customer relations and provide support.
• Manage sales and operation activities to meet targets.
• Provide pre- and post-sales support to customers.

Key responsibilities

Develop company products knowledge as soon as possible

Promote and establish market for company products

Prepare proposals for products and systems or packages based on company products

Maintain good customer relations by solving their problems and providing efficient customer support

Manage sales and operation activities

Achieve overall sales target and profit performance

Provide pre- and post-sales support to existing customers

Search for prospects, identify potential customers and promote company products

Attend enquiries, prepare quotations and proposals

About you

Bachelors' Degree or equivalent in Instrumentation & Control or Engineering

At least 2 years sales and marketing experience, preferably in instrumentations related to process industries

Hardworking, energetic, positive attitude and self-motivated with ability to work in a team

Good interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with people from different culture and background

Outgoing, pleasant, mature and well groomed

Possess own transport, willing to travel within Malaysia and overseas occasionally

Malaysian citizen or hold relevant residence status
