Job summary

PIC Engineering And Services is seeking a Sales & Service Engineer to manage sales activities and provide technical support for process control equipment across Malaysia. The role emphasizes maintaining customer relationships, proposing solutions, and handling on-site installation and servicing.

The candidate should have a degree in Instrumentation & Control engineering, with at least 2 years in sales and service in process industries. Willingness to travel domestically and overseas is required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years sales and service experience, preferably in instrumentations related to process industries.
• Hardworking, energetic, positive attitude and self-motivated with ability to work in a team.
• Good interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with people from different culture and background.
• Possess own transport, willing to travel within Malaysia and overseas occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Handle sales activities and provide technical support for process control equipment and systems
• Develop and maintain good relationships with existing and potential customers
• Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable products and technical solutions
• Prepare quotations, proposals and other sales-related documentation
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations and technical discussions with customers
• Carry out installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, testing and servicing of equipment at customer sites
• Provide after-sales technical support and follow up on customer enquiries
• Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers and customers to ensure smooth execution of projects and orders
• Prepare service reports, technical reports and other relevant documentation
• Travel within Malaysia and occasionally overseas when required
