Job summary

Pic Engineering And Services in Malaysia is seeking a Sales & Application Engineer to support process control systems and equipment, including level, flow, pressure, temperature and analytical measurement, valve test bench and valve repair machinery.

You will develop product knowledge, promote markets, prepare proposals, manage sales and operations, and provide pre- and post-sales support across Malaysia and occasional overseas travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation & Control or Engineering.
• At least 2 years sales/marketing experience in process industries.
• Self-motivated with ability to work in a team.
• Good interpersonal skills to communicate with people from different cultures/backgrounds.
• Outgoing, well groomed and able to travel within Malaysia and overseas.

Responsibilities

• Develop company products knowledge as soon as possible.
• Promote and establish market for company products.
• Prepare proposals for products and systems or packages based on company products.
• Maintain good customer relations by solving problems and providing efficient customer support.
• Manage sales and operation activities.
• Achieve overall sales target and profit performance.
• Provide pre- and post-sales support to existing customers.
• Search for prospects, identify potential customers and promote company products.
• Attend enquiries, prepare quotations and proposals.
