CSE ELECTRICAL & MECHANICAL SDN. BHD. is seeking a Safety Site Supervisor to oversee safety protocols on construction sites in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. This full-time role focuses on protecting worker health and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include site inspections, training workers, incident investigations, maintaining records, and coordinating with managers to develop safety plans. Fresh graduates are welcome; IOSH/NEBOSH qualifications are a plus.

About the role

As a Safety Site Supervisor at CSE ELECTRICAL & MECHANICAL SDN. BHD., you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing safety protocols and procedures on construction sites in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of all workers on site.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards
• Providing training and guidance to construction workers on proper safety practices
• Monitoring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and company policies
• Investigating and documenting any incidents or accidents that occur on site
• Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to develop and implement safety plans
• Maintaining detailed records of safety activities and reports
• Ensuring the proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE)

What we're looking for

A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Safety Site Supervisor or in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred. However, fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply and are welcome to attend the interview

Strong understanding of relevant health and safety regulations and best practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with workers and stakeholders

Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to identify and address safety concerns

Proficiency in safety documentation and report writing

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Relevant safety certifications or qualifications (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH) would be an advantage
