Job summary

Landasan Cahaya Sdn Bhd in Johor invites an experienced Lead HSE to oversee project Health, Safety and Environmental activities, develop and monitor OHSE plans, ERP and PTW compliance. You will coordinate with DOSH, clients and consultants, conduct inspections, audits, and safety training, and drive continual improvement under ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

Qualifications include a Diploma or Degree in OSH/Environmental Management and SHO competency is preferred, with a minimum of 5 years in

• SHO competency recognized by DOSH is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project HSE activities.
• Develop, implement and monitor the Project OHSE Plan, HIRARC, Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and site safety programs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, CIDB, DOSH, environmental regulations, client requirements and applicable legal obligations.
• Monitor high-risk construction activities, including work at height, lifting operations, scaffolding, excavation, confined spaces and heavy machinery.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, safety surveillance and compliance monitoring.
• Ensure subcontractors and workers comply with PTW requirements and safe work practices.
• Investigate incidents, near misses and environmental issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate emergency drills, toolbox meetings, HSE committee meetings and safety training.
• Monitor environmental controls, including scheduled waste, dust, noise, chemical management and pollution prevention.
• Maintain HSE documentation, statutory records, inspection reports, training records and incident reports.
• Ensure implementation of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements and monitor HSE performance for continual improvement.
• Liaise with project management, clients, consultants, DOSH and other relevant authorities on HSE matters
