Private Advertiser in Kuching, Sarawak, is seeking a Safety and Health Officer to ensure health, safety and environmental compliance across construction projects. You will work with site teams to implement safety protocols, deliver training, and investigate incidents.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and mitigate risks.

• Developing and delivering safety awareness training or briefing at workplace accordingly to regulatory requirement to ensure a safe working environment.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental legislation at site
• Investigating accidents, incidents and near-misses, and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintaining comprehensive records and reporting on key safety metrics
• Collaborating with project team to integrate safety considerations into project plans
• Conduct monthly safety meeting.

About the role

As a Safety and Health Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of health, safety and environmental compliance across our construction projects in Kuching, Sarawak. This full-time position will see you work closely with our site teams to implement and monitor safety protocols, provide training, and investigate any incidents or near-misses.

What you'll be doing
