IJM Corporation Berhad seeks a certified Safety & Health Officer to oversee on-site safety and hygiene at Kulim projects. You will develop policies, liaise with DOSH and other authorities, and lead safety inductions for all workers, ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

The role requires a minimum of 6 years on construction sites, flexibility in scheduling, and readiness to work at Kulim Kedah with a leading conglomerate that operates across multiple sectors.

Qualifications

• Competent Safety & Health Officer registered with DOSH.
• Bachelor/Diploma in Safety & Health and Environment or related field.
• Minimum 6 years working experience at construction site.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Responsabilités

• Provide advice and guidance on safety and hygiene practices at construction sites.
• Develop and implement project safety and health policy.
• Liaise with relevant safety enforcement authorities.
• Ensure compliance with authority safety requirements.
• Submit monthly occupational health and safety reports to the Project Manager.
• Conduct safety inductions for all site workers and raise safety awareness.
• Identify high-risk areas and potential hazards and mitigate risks.
• Support incident investigations and report to management as needed.

Provide advice, guidance on safety and hygiene practices at construction site.

Responsible for development and implementation of project safety and health policy.

Liaison with relevant safety enforcement authorities.

Responsible for compliance to authority requirement on safety matters.

Submit a monthly report to Project Manager on occupational health and safety at workplace.

Conducting safety induction to all workers at site and instilling safety awareness to all personnel.

To identify high risk area and potential safety hazardous.

Construction sequence and take measures to mitigate the risk.

Assist in the investigation of incidents occurred and submit reports to management where necessary

To assist any officer in carrying out his duties under the Act or any Regulations made under the Act.

Requirements:

Competent Safety & Health Officer registered with DOSH.

Bachelors/ Diploma in Safety & Health and Environment or related field.

Minimum 6 years working experience at construction site.

Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
