You will receive, inspect, store and move stock, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and help maintain safety and order across the facility. The role suits a proactive team player with attention to detail.

About the role

AH WEI AUTO PARTS & 4X4 ENGINEERING is seeking a dedicated Runner / Stock Keeper to join our warehousing and distribution team on a full-time basis in Durian Tunggal, Melaka. This is a hands-on role that plays a vital part in maintaining the efficiency of our warehouse operations and ensuring that our inventory is accurately managed and readily available for distribution. You will be responsible for the movement, organisation, and tracking of auto parts and 4x4 engineering components, supporting the smooth flow of goods throughout our facility and to our customers.

Key responsibilities

Receiving, inspecting and unloading incoming stock deliveries, verifying quantities and condition against documentation

Organising and storing auto parts and 4x4 engineering components in designated warehouse locations using systematic filing and shelving methods

Conducting regular stock counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate records and identify discrepancies

Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently in preparation for dispatch to customers

Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trolleys safely and responsibly

Maintaining cleanliness, safety and organisation throughout the warehouse facility, including aisles, storage areas and work zones

Processing stock transfers between warehouse locations and updating inventory systems accordingly

Supporting the dispatch team by preparing goods for shipment and assisting with loading vehicles

Reporting stock shortages, damaged goods and equipment issues to management promptly

Following all health and safety procedures and contributing to a secure working environment

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution centre or similar logistics environment

Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks and material handling machinery

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in stock management and record-keeping

Physical capability to lift and move heavy items regularly throughout the working day

Ability to work methodically and efficiently, meeting deadlines whilst maintaining quality standards

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and commitment to health and safety

Basic numeracy skills for stock counting and inventory verification

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

Knowledge of automotive parts or 4x4 engineering components is advantageous

Relevant certifications for forklift operation or material handling are preferred
