Job summary

Yuanda Trading Sdn Bhd in Sabah invites applications for a Warehouse Driver. The role focuses on the safe movement of goods, loading and unloading, and maintaining records to keep our supply chain running smoothly.

This full-time position is based in Sabah and supports warehousing and distribution operations. Candidates should hold a Malaysian driving licence (GDL/Class E preferred) and be familiar with Sabah routes.

Qualifications

• Valid GDL or Class E preferred; at minimum a Malaysian driving licence (Class D).
• Prior experience in a similar driving or warehouse role is an advantage.
• Familiarity with routes in Sabah (Tawau, Sandakan) and Sarawak (Miri) is highly preferred.
• Proven experience as a warehouse driver or in a similar logistics role within warehousing or distribution.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse health and safety procedures and regulations.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• A commitment to safety with a clean driving record and no major traffic violations.
• Physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of the role, including lifting and moving goods.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic IT skills would be advantageous.
• Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as required by operational needs.
• Ability to speak and/or write in Mandarin is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operating warehouse vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods within the warehouse facility and to designated delivery locations.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles, ensuring items are properly secured and protected during transit.
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, collections, and vehicle maintenance logs.
• Conducting pre-operation and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety and proper functioning.
• Following all health, safety and warehousing regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Communicating effectively with warehouse management and other team members to coordinate efficient operations.
• Assisting with inventory management and stock organisation within the warehouse.
• Supporting peak periods and special projects as required to meet operational demands.

About the role

As a Warehouse Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods, ensuring that our supply chain runs smoothly and customers receive their orders on time. This role is crucial to our logistics operations and directly impacts our service delivery and customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing
