Job summary

NTM AUTOMATION (M) SDN BHD in Puchong, Selangor, is seeking a dedicated Storekeeper to manage our automotive components inventory on-site. This full-time role involves receiving, organizing and recording inventory, issuing materials to engineering teams, and maintaining accurate stock records to support smooth operations.

The successful candidate will have proven inventory management experience, strong organisational skills, and familiarity with inventory systems and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Storekeeper or in inventory management, preferably in manufacturing or automotive environment.
• Strong organisational and attention to detail skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in using inventory management systems and computer software; experience with automotive parts is advantageous.
• Knowledge of proper storage, handling and safety procedures for automotive materials and components.
• Excellent record-keeping abilities and numeracy skills for accurate inventory tracking and reporting.
• Physical capability to handle lifting, moving and organising inventory items safely.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams and other departments.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to established procedures and health and safety guidelines.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain relevant certifications is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, inspecting and recording incoming components, materials and equipment into the inventory system.
• Organising and storing inventory items in designated locations with proper storage methods.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock counts to ensure data integrity.
• Issuing materials and components to engineering teams, production staff and other departments as requested.
• Monitoring stock levels and identifying slow-moving or obsolete items for timely stock rotation.
• Preparing and maintaining store documentation, including delivery notes, requisition forms and inventory reports.
• Ensuring the storeroom remains clean, organised and safe in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Coordinating with suppliers and procurement teams regarding orders, deliveries and inventory requirements.
• Identifying and reporting damaged, defective or missing items promptly.
• Assisting with the implementation of inventory control procedures and system improvements.

About the role

NTM AUTOMATION (M) SDN BHD is seeking a dedicated and organised Storekeeper to join our team in Puchong, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting our automotive engineering operations. As Storekeeper, you will be responsible for managing, organising and maintaining our inventory of automotive components, tools and materials. This position is essential to ensuring smooth operations and timely availability of resources across our engineering facilities. You will work on-site in Puchong, Selangor, and play a key part in optimising our supply chain and inventory management processes.

What you'll be doing
