Job summary

SGS, the world’s leading testing, inspection and certification company, invites applications for a sales-focused role in Penang, Malaysia. You will hunt for new business, manage key accounts and promote the full range of SGS services including RSTS testing and electrical safety assessments. Frequent travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering from a recognized university/college.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply with good attitude.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and hunt for new sales.
• Manage, monitor and develop additional business activities.
• Follow up on day to day business enquiries.
• Create new sales and follow up on existing/prospect for business (Restricted Substance Testing Services (RSTS) testing;Electrical & electronics safety, reliability & performance testing)
• Maintain and develop growth of KeyAccounts.
• Anticipate, identify and understand client’s needs; pains and translate into sales opportunities.
• Timeliness and accuracy in handling business enquiries.
• Maintain awareness and understanding of all SGS services, ensuring full range of SGS services are presented to clients to maximize sales opportunities.
• Forward potential opportunities to other Business Lines as appropriate.
• Adherence to SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct.
• HSE policy compliance in all responsibilities.
• Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by your reporting manager and/or Senior Management
