Job summary

SGS is seeking a Sales Engineer (Electrical & Electronic) in Malaysia to drive new business and grow key accounts across electronics, semiconductor, medical device, and manufacturing sectors. You will promote SGS testing services by understanding customer quality and regulatory requirements and delivering tailored solutions.

This full-time role requires strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, the ability to travel to client sites, and close collaboration with technical teams

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Chemistry, Electronics, Business, Marketing, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years of B2B sales or business development experience.
• Experience in testing services or technical solution sales is an advantage.
• Willing to travel to client sites.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and grow accounts within electronics, semiconductor, medical device, manufacturing, laboratory, and industrial sectors.
• Promote SGS testing services by understanding customers' quality, regulatory, and product compliance requirements.
• Conduct customer visits, solution presentations, quotations, negotiations, and follow-ups to achieve sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers while identifying cross-selling opportunities.
• Prepare proposals, tender submissions, and maintain an active sales pipeline through CRM.
• Collaborate with technical and laboratory teams to deliver effective testing solutions and excellent customer experience.
• Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
• Promote SGS testing solutions including electrical & electronics (E&E), EMC, product safety, reliability, and regulatory testing services.
