J&T Express Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented Route Planning Executive to optimize our logistics network. The role focuses on designing, monitoring, and improving trunk and branch line operations to ensure cost efficiency, reliability, and excellence in service.

You will develop standards for vehicle selection and route planning, analyze traffic distribution, and prepare periodic planning proposals while managing hub schedules and capacity.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, International Trade, Logistics Management, or related fields preferred.
• Possess working experience in logistic company.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Knowledge of SQL, GIS, CAD, or related software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills.

Job description

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical Route Planning Executive to optimize our logistics network. This role is responsible for designing, monitoring, and improving trunk and branch line operations, ensuring cost efficiency, service reliability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Drive reduction of single‑ticket transport costs, improve schedule execution rates, optimize overtime vehicle usage, and enhance load efficiency.

Develop standards for trunk line vehicle selection, operating models, load capacity, and route planning processes.

Establish and refine overtime vehicle dispatch standards, streamline vehicle allocation, and optimize hub slot settings.

Analyze traffic flow distribution and prepare annual, quarterly, and monthly route planning proposals.

Deliver peak season and holiday route planning solutions according to timelines.

Manage daily trunk and branch line scheduling, including departures, arrivals, travel duration, vehicle type, and operating mode adjustments.

Optimize package handover processes and branch line vehicle allocation.

Monitor inbound/outbound hub capacity, update operational data, track arrival/departure time distribution, and ensure effective operating hours.

Plan hub schedules, including start/end times and functional area breakdowns.

Monitor hub efficiency, capacity warnings, mainline traffic, unloading, sorting, and DWS recognition rates.

Manage warehouse retention to improve trunk and branch line capacity matching.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, International Trade, Logistics Management, or related fields preferred.

Posses working experience in logistic company.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Knowledge of SQL, GIS, CAD, or related software is an advantage.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
