Job summary

KUKA Group in Malaysia invites engineers to join our field service team, providing on-site and remote support for robotic systems, spare parts, and automation solutions across projects. You will perform service, repair, preventive maintenance, and product consultations, with travel overseas and long hours when needed.

English fluency and good communication are essential. Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronic Engineering, PLC and C++ knowledge are advantages that will help you excel

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronic Engineering required or desired.
• Knowledge in PLC and C++ programming is an added advantage.
• Fluent in written and spoken English with strong communication skills.
• Willingness to travel overseas at short notices.
• Able to work under pressure, long working hours and on weekends/Public Holidays if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide field service, pre-sales and post-sales engineering support.
• Provide service, repair, preventive maintenance and product consultations on our scope of supply (systems, spare parts and robotic arms) to customers.
• Follow up for any new investment that customer may undertake in service and engineering related to robotic arms.
• Escalate service problems and take ownership of problems until they are resolved.
• Manage customers' expectations with quick, clear and accurate delivery of pro-active service, information and consultations.
• Ensure all services and projects meet planned time, cost and customer requirements.
• Prepare service/project report, filing and update service documents.
• Adhere to the company process flow and compliance.
