About the Role We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Sales Engineer (Robotics & Automation) to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and promoting KUKA's industry-leading robotics and automation solutions. You will work closely with customers across various industries to understand their operational challenges, recommend suitable automation solutions, and support them throughout the sales cycle. Key Responsibilities

Business Development: Identify, develop, and expand new business opportunities within assigned industries and territories.

Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to drive long-term business growth.

Solution Selling: Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable robotics and automation solutions to meet their business needs.

Sales Pipeline Management: Manage sales opportunities from lead generation through proposal submission, negotiation, and project award.

Proposal & Tender Management: Prepare and follow up on quotations, sales proposals, and tenders while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer developments to identify growth opportunities.

CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate customer information, opportunities, and sales activities within Salesforce or other CRM platforms.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, project, service, and marketing teams to ensure successful solution delivery and customer satisfaction.

Post-Sales Support: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, project execution, and excellent customer experience.

Brand Ambassador: Represent KUKA professionally at customer meetings, exhibitions, industry events, and business development activities.

What We're Looking For

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum 2 years of sales, business development, or technical sales experience within industrial automation, machinery, manufacturing, engineering, or related industries.

Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply!

Knowledge of robotics, automation solutions, industrial machinery, or manufacturing processes is highly advantageous.

Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to engage customers at all levels.

Customer-oriented with a passion for business development and solution selling.

Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce is an advantage.

Willing to travel within Malaysia and support customers when required.

Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
