Job summary

KUKA Group is seeking a Robotics Service Engineer for the Selangor/KL region, based in Petaling Jaya. You will provide field service, maintenance and technical consultations for robotic arms and automation systems across customer sites.

The role requires 2–3 years in mechanical/electrical/mechatronic engineering, PLC and C++ knowledge, and willingness to travel. English fluency and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronic Engineering or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in mechanical, electrical or programming roles; entry-level candidates also welcome.
• Knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and C++ programming is advantageous.
• Solid experience in robotic applications or other automated systems.
• Fluent in written and spoken English with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide field service, pre-sales and post-sales engineering support.
• Perform service, repair, preventive maintenance and product consultations on systems, spare parts and robotic arms.
• Follow up on new investments in service/engineering for robotic arms.
• Escalate service problems and take ownership until resolved.
• Manage customer expectations with timely and proactive service information.
