Job summary

KK Super Mart Semenyih is hiring a Shop Assistant (Full Time) to receive, record, arrange, inspect and merchandise stock, and to maintain store cleanliness and safety. You will operate POS systems, assist customers and uphold KK’s store image.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years retail experience (supervisory preferred), an SPM or diploma, strong communication, and the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays, with own transport.

Qualifications

• SPM, Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• Previous retail experience (1–3 years) with supervisory responsibilities preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer applications.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Possess own transportation.

Responsibilities

• To receive, record, arrange, inspect, and return goods, as well as perform all tasks related to inventory and merchandise handling.
• To maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping within the store premises.
• To operate and handle all equipment and machines available in the store in accordance with company procedures.
• To ensure the safety and proper care of the store's property and assets.
• To provide courteous and professional service to customers.
• To handle emergency situations appropriately and report them to the relevant personnel when necessary.
• To uphold and maintain the good image and reputation of KK Supermart at all times.
