Job summary

KK SUPER MART Melaka Raya is seeking a full-time Shop Assistant. You will receive, record, arrange, inspect and return goods, and manage inventory and merchandise handling. You will also maintain store cleanliness and operate equipment per procedures.

You will deliver courteous service to customers, handle emergencies, protect store assets, and uphold KK Supermart's image. SPM/diploma with 1–3 years retail experience and supervisory exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• SPM or Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• Retail experience 1–3 years, supervisory responsibilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, record, arrange, inspect, and return goods; manage inventory and merchandise handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping within the store premises.
• Operate and handle all equipment and machines per company procedures.
• Ensure safety and proper care of the store's property and assets.
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers.
• Handle emergencies appropriately and report to relevant personnel.
• Uphold and maintain the good image and reputation of KK Supermart at all times.
